Cookie Policy
Last updated: December 14, 2025
This policy explains how ON LAW uses cookies and similar technologies. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being completely transparent about the data collected.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you access websites. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to site owners.
2. Our Approach: Privacy First
Unlike most websites, we DO NOT use invasive tracking cookies, pixel trackers, or third-party cookies to monitor your behavior on the internet (such as those from Facebook or Google Ads). Our site is built to inform you, not to track you.
3. Cookies We Use
We use an extremely small number of cookies, strictly necessary for the technical functioning of the site:
| Nume Cookie | Furnizor | Scop | Durată |
|---|---|---|---|
local-page-seen | ON LAW (First Party) | Technical. Remembers if you have already been automatically redirected to the local page (e.g., Lawyer Ilfov) to not repeat the redirection on every access. | 24 hours |
plausible_ignore | Plausible Analytics | Optional. Set only if you have opted not to be included in anonymous statistics (if this feature is active). | Persistent |
4. About Plausible Analytics
To understand how our site is used (which pages are visited, from which countries visitors come), we use Plausible Analytics. This is an ethical alternative to Google Analytics that: • Does NOT use tracking cookies. • Does NOT collect personal data (anonymized IP addresses). • Does NOT track users across other sites. The data is strictly aggregated and used only for optimizing the site experience.
5. Controlling Cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. However, if you do this, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site.
